Chef Alan Bay Area was an idea born from the realization that we can all use some help simplifying our lives.

My story


I have been in the restaurant industry for almost 40 years.  My culinary education began as a teenager washing dishes and progressed to a formal education at the Culinary Institute of America, New York.

My resume includes years of working for Wolfgang Puck both as a corporate training chef for Puck Cafe and as a catering chef for high-end events and clients. I was also the Corporate Executive Chef for Chevys Fresh Mex and most recently spent a decade with Boudin Bakery doing all food, recipe and menu development.

My career has come full circle now and I’m back in the kitchen following my passion bringing joy to individuals and families through food.

The perfect client is you.  I can eliminate the hassle of having to plan and prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner. It’s invaluable for today’s busy lifestyles. Plus, there is no clean up! Leave it to me.
